Dear Parents,

We are planning a system wide remote learning day for all traditional students on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.  Students in grades PreK-12 will not attend school on campus.  This will be a test run to ensure that we are all prepared if the system needs to implement remote instruction in the future.  It is important that we have a true test run involving students and teachers to access our preparedness both in technical and instructional terms. It will allow us to make sure that our students are proficient in their use of the Chromebooks and technology tools needed to complete the assignments at home.

On November 25, traditional students K-12 should plan to log in to his/her Google classroom on his/her school issued Chromebook to complete the posted assignments.  Students in grades K-5 will receive a copy of their Clever badge on Tuesday so they will be able to log in. All PreK students will bring home an instructional material packet.  All full time virtual students should continue with their scheduled assignments.  The amount of time estimated to be online for remote learning is listed in the chart below.

Since Wednesday will be a remote learning day and students will not be on campus, we will be sending breakfast and lunch items for Wednesday home with your child on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.  This is made possible through the USDA waiver that provides free meals to all students through the end of the school year.

Whether your child is learning in a traditional or virtual environment, we appreciate your involvement and commitment to helping us provide your child with the best education possible.  I hope you and your families have a blessed Thanksgiving.
